I sure do love fairy tales!  And there’s no bigger bedtime story than how the Democrats are socialists, while the Republicans are champions of the free market and personal responsiblity.  Yeah.  Right.  And rabid monkeys might fly out of my ass on national television.


Among the few bills likely to actually become law before Congress closes shop for the elections is a plan to give struggling U.S. automakers $25 billion in federal loans.

Opponents criticize it as a taxpayer-funded industry bailout, but the legislation is steaming ahead anyway, buoyed by the support of both John McCain and Barack Obama.

Hmmmm… is it perhaps a coincidence that the beneficiaries of yet more taxpayer largesse would largely come from states such as Michigan and Ohio, which could be critical win states for both candidates socialist swine.

Once again the politicians are holding taxpayers accountable for the failure of the auto industry to see what was clearly before its collective eyeballs – that rising fuel prices would prompt consumers to stop buying gas guzzling pieces of crap that get 12 mpg.  Not shocking.

McCain, who originally opposed this latest bailout, is now all for it.  Not shocking.

Politicians are whores who will do practically anything to get votes.  Not shocking.

That Americans are still willing to hold their noses and vote for either of these douchebags.  Shocking.
