For those of you who don’t know, David has a regular column called the Gun Rights Examiner. You ought to give it a try. It’s not every day that members of the mainstream media give pro-gun rights voices a stage. This is important stuff.
David’s October 30th column Truth and Consequences emphasizes the fact that law-abiding, peaceable gun owners are not the problem in America, and yet we’re the ones punished by more restrictive laws and infringements on our constitutional rights year after year.
But if you’re thinking the title of this particular blog entry refers to David, you’re mistaken. It refers to one of his commenters, who is obviously one of the bleating sheep who doesn’t understand the value of his own life, doesn’t care about the lives of others and has been bred to rely on the nanny state to protect him, while quaking at the thought of anyone other than the “authorities” having the means to protect themselves.
i not only doubt, but am certain i am more likely to be murdered by an nra member than being hit by a meteorite.
please
find some facts before calling laws that keep guns out of the hands of
criminals, domestic abusers, the dangerously mentally ill, and other
people who shouldn’t have access to them meaningless.

Let’s ignore the fact that this particular retard has no concept of grammar or syntax. Let’s focus on the fact that this used bag of vinegar and water is spewing meaningless crap and pseudo-statistics, while hypocritically calling on David to provide facts at the same time. Just wow.
So, David obliged.
David Codrea:
Well, dcva, per the Catalog of Meteorites, 5th edition, Cambridge University Press (2000):Find some facts? Me? OK:
Here are the stats since records began being kept. Note this predates the last 8 years:
Number of Humans Reportedly Hit: 14
Number of Animals Reportedly Hit: 6
Number of Objects Reportedly Hit: 107Please
give me the NRA member murder stats, along with an authoritative source
citation and I’ll cede to your obvious superior knowledge.OK, your turn to find those facts.
Let either the cricket chirping or subject-changing begin.
As for laws keeping guns out of the hands of the dangerous, good one!
I’m thinking the crickets will be chirping for a long time on this one.
