That is she hopes to muzzle any Republican opposition to the Democrats’ changes to the fundamental principles on which this nation was built.
That’s change she can believe in!
House Republicans are already crying foul over a package of rule changes prepared by Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (a/k/a Skeletor) including the elimination of one of the few legislative tactics the Republican minority have to slow down bills or have their amendments considered during floor debates. The House Democratic caucus approved the changes Monday night.
Technically, the proposed rule change would place new restrictions on motions to “recommit” a bill to the committee that approved it for new amendments, which in practice often meant a lengthy or even permanent delay in passing the measure. Motions to recommit would still be possible, but the new rules would allow the full House to reconsider the bill almost instantaneously.

Because anyone not goosestepping behind Darth Skeletor and her Democratobots is working against the common good, and therefore, should be squashed… their views nullified… their ability to debate destroyed. To hell with bipartisanship! Who cares what the Anointed One said in his campaign speeches! The Demonrats won, and therefore, no other debate should be allowed.
Why?
Because apparently, substantive policy debate actually takes time, and they have way too much Marxism to ram down our throats to bother listening to opposing views.
Democrats, who hold 257-158 majority in the House, argue that Republicans overused the recommit tactic in the previous Congress, offering unrelated but politically charged amendments to bills in an effort to embarrass Democrats and derail an immediate vote. The new rules would give the minority the right to a vote on sending the bill back to committee without instructions on policy changes or to ask for those policy changes while the bill remains on the House floor.
Trust me. The Democrats need no help in the embarrassment arena. They’re very good at embarrassing themselves without the help of the spineless Republicans, whose only accomplishment during the past two years has been a deeper, more polished bow after rimming Skeletor and her crew.
Oh, and remember those restrictions limiting House committee chairmen to three terms? Skeletor wants to get rid of those as well! Talk about seizing power! As long as the Demonrats hold the majority in Congress, Pelosi wants to entrench committee heads in permanent positions of power.
Once again I point out the American people put this psychotic, power-hungry bitch in office – AGAIN – after she headed the most failed Congress in American history! I have no doubt that the populace gets what it deserves. I just wish the rest of us wouldn’t have to suffer.
