John Lott points to an interesting (as well as twisted and disturbing and threatening to force me to take a sledgehammer to my computer and any other medium that publishes the details of this absolute monstrosity in an impotent rage quelled only slightly by killing the messenger) article on Fox today about the multi-billion dollar stimulus package the Democrats Marxist douchebags in Congress are ready to foist upon the public.

Three House committees plan to begin writing final versions
of the legislation next week with a floor debate coming the week of Jan. 25.

The measure calls for $87 billion
to help the states meet the rising cost of providing health care for the poor
in the recession, and another $39 billion to
subsidize coverage by out-of-work wage-earners who cannot afford the cost of their employer-covered health care
.

More
than $100 billion is ticketed for education, including money for school districts to shield them from the effects of state
cutbacks in services
. Democrats also provided tens of billions in spending and tax breaks designed to lessen the nation’s
dependence on oil as a principal source of energy.

Obama’s top aides have worked closely in recent days with Democrats
in Congress to shape legislation that generally adheres to the president-elect’s wishes.

At the same time, lawmakers
departed dramatically in one area, jettisoning the incoming administration’s call to give a $3,000 tax credit for each new
job created by private companies.

Another key priority of the new administration was preserved, though. The summary
calls for a tax credit of $500 per worker and $1,000 per working couple.

So the Marxist-in-Chief is wasting no time in growing government involvement in everything, including health care and education, and Congress is, for the most part, genuflecting in front of him, while tickling his prostate with their tongues.

Why not just be honest and say that much like in any other welfare state, social spending will be increased?  Why not just say that this is merely a means to increase government spending?  Why not just be honest?

Oh, I forgot… these are politicians.

$825 BILLION in new spending!

Where is this money going to come from?

If we’re taxed, we pay.

If the government prints more money, the value of money is diluted, our purchasing power is decreased, it costs more to buy goods, we pay.

If the government borrows money, we pay.

And if the simians we put in power simply run higher deficits and spend money they don’t have… well, then future generations will pay.  No one wins except the politicians, who redistribute wealth via means that allow them to do so without actually calling it wealth redistribution.

Why not just call a spade a spade? If this economic Viagra for the miserable failures is so fabulous, why not be honest about its nature?

It’s as if avoiding calling it wealth redistribution changes the reality of what it is somehow! What the hell kind of self-deluded moron would accept this principle?

Oh, I forgot… these are politicians.

Meanwhile Michelle Malkin reports on the current deluded Socialist-in-Chief’s middle-of-the-night fellatio fest with Bank of America and the incoming administration. I wonder if he actually wiped his mouth after he was finished.

With a new round of turmoil gripping the financial
markets, the Bush administration late Thursday night rushed $20 billion
in emergency funding for Bank of America.

Just months ago, Bank of America, based in Charlotte, N.C., appeared
to emerge as the nation’s top bank after it stepped in on Sept. 15 to
purchase investment bank Merrill Lynch. After Merrill’s fourth-quarter
results proved worse than expected, however, the acquisition was in
peril and investors have fled Bank of America in droves.

Bank of America’s stock lost 40 percent of its value during the past
10 days — shares closed on Thursday in single digits for the first time
in 18 years — and the taxpayer money will be used to ameliorate the
losses from its acquisition of Merrill Lynch. Chief Executive Ken Lewis
called it “deal of a lifetime” when it was announced.

People familiar with the unfolding events, requesting anonymity to
speak freely, said Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve
Chairman Ben Bernanke, with the knowledge of President-elect Barack
Obama’s transition team, pressured the bank to stick to its purchase of
Merrill Lynch.

In addition to the $20 billion Bank of America will receive from
October’s bailout fund, the Federal Reserve and Treasury Department
also will provide a backstop of $118 billion for its assets, which
include mostly securities whose collateral are commercial or
residential real-estate loans. Most of these assets were assumed by
Bank of America in its acquisition of Merrill Lynch.

Meanwhile, Ms. Malkin reports, the banks are having a ton of fun with your cash, while you and your family struggle to make ends meet.

Today the National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) asked Neil M.
Barofsky, the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief
Program (TARP), for a formal review of the sponsorship by Bank of
America and Citigroup of the Rainbow/PUSH Wall Street Conference
currently taking place in New York City. The January 13-16 event is one
of two of Jesse Jackson’s annual fundraisers.

According to official conference materials, Citigroup is a “Gold
Sponsor,” a designation costing $50,000. Bank of America is identified
as a “Silver Sponsor,” a designation costing $30,000.

Both Citigroup and Bank of America are major recipients of TARP funds.

Taxpayers are now Citigroup’s largest shareholder after infusions of
$45billion. Bank of America has already received $25 billion. According
totoday’s Wall Street Journal, it is seeking billions more in order to
make possible its acquisition of Merrill Lynch.

Aren’t you just THRILLED that Congress and the “Republican” you put in office TWICE are using your money as a means to save the faltering banks, which would just collapse without taxpayer help, and which were so desperately in need of funding!

I’m so tired of the so-called “necessity” of the moment trumping my right to retain my own property that I have worked for and earned!  I’m so tired of Bush, Paulson, Bernanke, Obama, Reid and Pelosi fomenting panic in order to garner support for their spending games!  I’m so tired of the insane contradiction propagated in Bush’s abandonment of the free market in order to save it!  Does anyone actually believe this craziness?

As John Lott says:

Why not just be honest and say that the stimulus bill is simply a
chance to pass a lot of government policy changes? One change that I
read earlier was that the bill would allow states to give health care
coverage to children whose families that earn up to about $84,800. Just
admit that you want everyone in the “free” government system and get
rid of the pretext. The tax cut is also stupid. What matters is a tax
cut that gives people an incentive to work more (a change in the
marginal tax rate). But this is just a lump sum transfer to everyone.

As I said earlier, if this is such a fabulous plan, why the need to obfuscate its details?  If this thing is so great, why not just come out and be honest about its nature?  My guess is that the politicians and their Anointed Leader are fully aware of the socialist implications of this plan, and they understand that anyone with half a brain would oppose it on principle.  Therefore they have to hide its nature in order to dupe the populace.

So I’ll say it for them.  This plan is nothing more than politicians taking money they haven’t earned and that doesn’t belong to them away from those who have earned it (and from future generations of earners) in order to give it away to those who haven’t earned it, have made irresponsible financial decisions, or are using need as justification for theft.

Well, guess what!  Needs and desires are not claim checks for robbery.  A thug with a gun pointed in my head stealing my wallet is still a thug, even if he whines that he really, really needs the money and even if he promises to give it away to those who really, really need it.  The nature of the act doesn’t change.  It’s still theft at gunpoint.  Your needs and desires do not place a moral obligation on my earnings, as I have a right to property, but apparently the politicians don’t care about the rights of those who work and earn – just about the rights of rotting, irresponsible mediocrities who run their businesses and their lives into the ground.

And by the way, I’m SICK AND TIRED of loony leftists all of a sudden starting up a chorus of “Kumbaya,” preaching how we’re all in this together, and how we all need to sacrifice!  Sorry.  I’m done with that corrupt screed.  The only people who are sacrificing are those who will be forced to pay higher taxes for the follies of others!  I didn’t vote for any of the halfwits in government today, and yet, I’m suffering because of their own inadequacies.

I didn’t preach their communist platitudes as virtues, in an attempt to sway the vote, and yet, I’m dealing with the consequences of those who did.

I didn’t spend beyond my means, default on my loans or grab up a mortgage with a variable APR, while blindly counting on the rates to remain fixed, and yet my tax dollars – and those of my kids and grandkids – will be used to pay those who did.

I work my ass off at two jobs as a single parent, and I’m going to school to better myself and make myself more marketable in my profession, and yet what I have achieved with my hard work is being appropriated and distributed to those who haven’t matched my efforts or achievement.

The bankers are certainly not sacrificing.  They’re still throwing their expensive parties and traveling in their private jets.

The irresponsible CEOs aren’t sacrificing.  They’re still getting their bonuses.

The dunderheads who took on more debt than they could handle aren’t sacrificing.  They’re getting money they haven’t earned, stolen by politicians from those who have earned it.

The politicians aren’t sacrificing.  They’ve given themselves a raise this year, and despite having castigated Bush in 2004 for throwing a $40 million inaguration bonanza during a time of war, are shitting themselves stupid about Obama’s $150 million inauguration gala during a time of what they claim is the worst economic crisis this nation has seen since the Great Depression!

So, no.  We’re not all in this together, and we’re not all sacrificing together.  The only people sacrificing are those who have worked and who haven’t made stupid financial decisions.  The rest of the leeches are simply bleeding them dry, while claiming that their sacrifice is for the good of all.

What they don’t tell you is that the “good of all” means the “good of all indolent, worthless, power-hungry, whining, irresponsible, stupid, thieving jerks.”  Because those of you who have worked hard to ensure that the economic downturn doesn’t affect your families aren’t getting shit out of this bailout.
