OK, first of all, an administrative note:  the office has me slammed with work.  I worked 10 hours yesterday (on top of a 2 hour commute) and the rest of the week doesn’t promise to be any better.  So if blogging is sporadic, please forgive me.  I’m on a deadline.

That said, when I got this story from Mike this morning, I very nearly shoved a live grenade up the fourth point of contact of the first person I saw.  Fortunately for the person, he happened to be my boss.  Also fortunate for my boss, I didn’t have a live grenade on me.  Less fortunate for me, I’m still steaming!

A local school district has suspended a member of the Young Marines

Morrow, a 17-year-old senior at Cherokee Trail High School in Aurora,
is serving a 10-day suspension. Her punishment could be extended at an
expulsion hearing later this month.

Morrow is a student leader in the Douglas County Young Marines, a group dedicated to teaching leadership and life skills.

school also called police, who seized the three drill team guns made of
wood, plastic and duct tape. Police told Morrow to claim them in time
for her after-school drill practice off-campus.

Wood, plastic and duct tape.  How pathetic are these Hitler Youth that they can’t even tell the difference between real guns and PROPS!?

The police examined the guns, and decided there was no danger.  They simply told the girl to come pick them up after class.

The school administrators, on the other hand, are panty-shitting, communist cockstains.

The guns were declared “authentic representations of genuine weapons,” triggering a mandatory expulsion statute in state law.

And now, because a bunch of indoctrinated, barely mentally coherent Hitler Youth soiled their pants when they looked inside her car, a girl who has never been in trouble before, and who had planned on attending the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, is now suspended from school for at least 10 days.  All because the drooling ignorami who run the school system can’t seem to use logical thought to conclude that ruining a young woman’s life for having props in her car for an activity that will eventually make her stronger, more disciplined and more responsible is NOT a fucking good thing!

Mike said it best in his email:

If you are unable to tell the difference between a drill rifle and a real weapon, you need to be replaced by someone with an IQ over 70.

If you are unwilling to be reasonable about the matter, you need to be replaced by someone with a conscience.

If you believe we are all stupid enough to believe your "hands are tied," or if you actually believe your hands are tied, see comment 1.(The relevant laws are readily available online, and comprehensible to anyone with a 6th grade reading ability.)

Given the sheer incompetence and corruption shown in this matter, I'm quite sure our new President has room for you in his cabinet.

Please, all of you, move to France.  I have relatives wishing to immigrate legally who are competent, productive, non-whiny humanbeings.  America needs the improvement.

However you fix the problem, please stop disgracing my adopted nation.
