This isn’t the first time. These things are hideous murder implements! First, a woman was stabbed in Seattle, causing injury and infection that required surgery. The medical costs! The horror! The emotional trauma!
And now…
When Nieves Ngeskebei got in an argument with her boyfriend early Saturday morning, she didn’t give him the boot.
She hit him in the face with a stiletto-heeled shoe, Tampa police say.
Ngeskebei, 22, of Tampa, was arrested Saturday and charged with
aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, according to a criminal arrest
affidavit.
I think it’s time to ban the stilettos, people. They’re way too dangerous.
Where’s the screeching of Carolyn McCarthy when we need her?
Meanwhile, David details efforts to ban another dangerous implement.

When they came for stilettos, I said nothing because I didn’t wear stilettos. When they came for yummy open-toed satin pumps I said nothing because I didn’t wear yummy open-toed satin pumps. When they came for Birkenstocks, I not only didn’t say anything, but I laughed because now the hippies had to go barefoot and I don’t wear Birkenstocks. Now they’ve come for golf shoes and there is nobody left to speak for me.
