You know that an anti-veteran idea has to be bad if rabid Marxist twunts like Patty Murray oppose it! Yes, the same Patty Murray who a few years ago was castigated for ardently fellating Osama Bin Laden is heartily opposing the Obama Administration’s proposal to force wounded vets to use private insurance for illness and injuries sustained while serving their country!
Who would even consider such a vicious proposal? What kind of shitslurping fuckbag would even think about forcing wounded vets to use private insurance to pay for medical care they earned with their blood and guts?
None other than Eric Shinseki, whose list of accomplishments includes imposing Bill Clinton’s fat, beret-wearing whore fetish on the Army by redesigning our headgear to make us all look like Monica Lewinsky.
This time Shinseki has really gone too far!
Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki confirmed Tuesday that the
Obama administration is considering a controversial plan to make
veterans pay for treatment of service-related injuries with private
insurance.[...]
Asked about the proposal, Shinseki said it was under “consideration.”
“A final decision hasn’t been made yet,” he said.
Currently, veterans’ private insurance is charged only when they
receive health care from the VA for medical issues that are not related
to service injuries, like getting the flu.
Yes, get this straight. This administration has no problem giving money away to homeowners who ignorantly got in over their heads by purchasing property they couldn’t possibly afford, banks whose shoddy lending practices helped create the economic mess we’re in today, and auto makers who manufactured shitty products and ran their companies into the ground.
But ensuring that wounded veterans who sacrificed everything in the service of this nation… no, that’s apparently not at the top of this administration’s agenda!
And Shinseki, being a wounded war vet with two Purple Hearts, who I’m damn sure received medical care when he got back from Vietnam, should goddamn well know better and have more consideration for wounded veterans! But nooooo….
We want to help Teh One appear fiscally responsible, and in the process screw every veteran who shed his blood! You fucker!
Here’s my advice to you: remove your lips from Obama’s schlong and take care of your fellow vets, you asshole. Stand up for them. They volunteered to serve their nation for pathetic pay and an all-expense paid trip to hell. They did it because they love this country. Wounded veterans are NOT a place to start saving, while bank and auto execs party it up in lavish resorts and collect their exorbitant paychecks.
Stand up for them, you cantankerous hemorrhoid on the asshole of life! They goddamn deserve it!
PS — I echo what the Sniper said: if you’re a veteran or a current service member who wants to keep their benefits and you voted for The One, you’re an idiot.

trying to rape thousands of combat vets may not be an avocation commensurate with long tenure in office, or in this world.

As a resident of the State of Washington, I take offense at complimentary comments being printed about one of our state’s Senators. Wait, just stopped to re-read your comments, and agree fully! You may vilify not only Senator Murray, but be sure to include Senator Cantvotewell with my support.

I’m a Veteran and have worked in the insurance industry. It won’t work for three reasons.1. Most life and health policies exclude coverage for “Acts of War.” That is why we rhetorically called 911 an Act of War but not officially – none of the families would have collected on their policies.2. What stupid insurance company is going to sell private coverage to soldiers and Marines on their way to war? How much will that cost?3. Health insurance policies always exclude “pre-existing conditions” – like that shrapnel in your chest.

I’m beginning to think it’s time to start taking some people out in this administration – it just keeps getting worse & worse! There are an awful lot of us that served many years ago & are hearing a different call to serve now – It may have to happen….

I didn’t vote in the recent election for president, but as a Vet, I consider the best option anyone who conducts war swiftly, along with keeping veterans benefits. It’s not as if the other option in the election gave a shit about veterans.http://www.veteransforcommonsense.org/articleid/9559It’s like Chomsky says, “There are two parties, so-called, but they’re really factions of the same party, the Business Party.” Veteran benefits aren’t a priority because Veterans don’t give substantial funding to political parties on the same level of private-interests. Hence too, the idea to make veterans pay for private insurance: these insurance companies know they’re gonna make a buck.

I agree with you 100%, and I also think you invent the coolest swear words

This may be one of two times I agree with Chomsky. If I can figure out the other time, I’ll let you know.

I second what Don K said. Sheer delight!
