This health care scares the hell out of me. My wife would have been triaged out at fifty-three. Yeah, six hundred thousand and climbing, seven weeks in the hospital and climbing, chemo twice, then a massive infection landing her in ICU for a week. Throwing everything they had at it, all the big guns. She is recovering, hopefully to come home in a week. Then on to consolidation chemotherapy for her leukemia. Tomorrow, her birthday, I’m giving her my new .357 she loves to much. We had insurance, paid for it for thirty years. From what I’ve read of the bill it will ration, meaning let a kind, gentle woman having worked for forty years die because it is too expensive to help her live!!!!!!!! I’m getting pissed offf now, but these scheming bastards are heading us for a civil war if this keeps going on! For too many Americans have elderly or sick loved ones that have served their nation or done their time in life, hauling their own freight. And if health care is so damn good, why isn’t congress and obama getting it?????????

They haven’t Nicki. I may grind myself down, say living at a hospital for four days, but them….no. I go see her tomorrow the twenty-third, her birthday. God, I never knew how much I loved her until this, been together thirty years…I always did, but this brought out something in me I never would normally do, if that makes any sense. As I told people, I’d walk thrugh hell with a gas can for her. Sometimes I think I have, and would do so again if called upon.
