For these foul miscreant, criminal sacks of scum.
A poverty-rights group that
has drawn the ire of conservatives suffered another setback in
Washington on Monday when the U.S. Senate voted overwhelmingly
to deny it access to federal housing funds. The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now,
which helps poor people fight foreclosures and fix tax
problems, has received more than $53 million in U.S. funds
since 1994, but conservatives’ charges of widespread fraud have
begun to impact its reputation in the capital.
Last week, the U.S. Census Bureau told the group it did not
want its help boosting participation in next year’s census.
Oh is THAT what it does? Helps poor people fight foreclosures and fix tax problems? And here I thought it bullied companies into allowing deadbeat scum to suck off its profits at others’ expense. Here I thought it facilitated illegal activities. Here I thought they helped criminals exploit the law. Here I thought they helped promote prostitution. Here I thought they helped elect the Magic Marxist by engaging in voter fraud.
These vomitous bags of effluvia are a disgusting band of socialist bullies, who – until now – have been receiving taxpayer money for their shady activities.
Thanks much to the U.S. Senate for doing the right thing and removing ACORN’s filthy paws from our pockets. The Senate measure passed 83-7. Want to know who the criminal enablers are who voted to keep feeding taxpayer dollars into ACORN’s foul maw?

Michelle Malkin notes that the great hope of the GOP John McCain notably abstained from voting. Gee, I wonder why. Tell me again how I should have voted for this shitstain as the lesser of two evils.
NOTE: By the way – for the record, I have no moral problem with prostitution. I know quite a few of you will have a problem with this, but there it is. I feel an adult should be free to do what an adult wants with said adult’s own body, especially since this particular activity is freely given at any other time. Transactions between two consenting adults should be none of politicians’ business. That said, it is currently against the law. Yes, it’s prevalent. Yes, it’s common. Yes, it’s done. But it is currently illegal in most states, and ACORN attempted to circumvent the law and help what they thought was a criminal enterprise obtain housing at taxpayer expense.
That is what I find abhorrent.

What I find objectionable is the refusal of the major media outlets to report on this because they care more about offending Obama and protecting democrats than they do about journalism. We all know that had this been a group like the NRA with ties to the GOP, it would be a leading story on every outlet that is currently not running it.

Brilliant blog! I agree with you 100%.I too wish the general media would research first and just report news instead of trying to influence the public by deciding what to report. Maybe we’d end up with more news, less sports and less reports on kittens in trees. Slowly we will change things for the better…

uh, I believe “adult” is the operative word here. I have a problem with helping anyone establish a slave trade of underage girls for use in prostitution. Which was the issue here.
