Are you happy that you have elected the most incompetent, the most irresponsible, the most corrupt Congress and White House administration in decades?

Are you happy that you elected legislators who will sell you, your freedoms and your voices for some earmarks for their states?

Are you happy that you elected Senators and Congressmen who won’t listen to you, no matter how loudly you oppose their actions?

Are you happy that they have run up our debts and deficits and have saddled your children and grandchildren with trillions for which they will be paying for generations to come?

Are you happy that you elected a bunch of economic incompetents whom even the Chinese are going to start avoiding like a bad case of genital herpes, because they’ve turned the strongest, most economically viable nation into a bad credit risk?

IT is getting harder for governments to buy United States Treasuries because the US’s shrinking current-account gap is reducing supply of dollars overseas, a Chinese central bank official said yesterday.

The comments by Zhu Min, deputy governor of the People’s Bank of China,referred to the overall situation globally, not specifically to China, the biggest foreign holder of US government bonds.

Now, the Chinese are claiming nothing has changed as far as their use of the dollar as an anchor currency.  But how big of a deficit will we build up before even the Chinese bail on us?

In a discussion on the global role of the dollar, Zhu told an academicaudience that it was inevitable that the dollar would continue to fallin value because Washington continued to issue more Treasuries tofinance its deficit spending.

The communists in China get it. You can’t grow the deficit indefinitely.  The communists in Congress and the White House, however, don’t seem to comprehend this basic principle.

But hey – you elected these shitbags, America!  And with an about 90 percent incumbency rate in Congress, you deserve exactly what you get.  You complain about the politicians in Washington, but you’re too uninformed and ignorant to vote them out.  You complain about government spending, but year after year and election after election elect the same petty losers who promise you the world.  And you don’t even stop to think what those promises will cost!

Let me explain a basic concept to you – all of you who voted for the same blithering idiots in Congress and all of you who voted for our current White House resident:  anytime a politician promises you something, he or she does so with the understanding that it’s YOUR money they’re spending.  The government has no money of its own.  It belongs to every productive person who pays his or her taxes, and the slime you’ve put into office has forgotten that. They have forgotten that government revenues do not belong to them… or they don’t care.  Either way, every promise they give you comes from your pocket.

Is this what you wanted? 

A gargantuan bureaucracy that spends more money than it brings in?  A Congress that doesn’t know how to exercise fiscal restraint? Politicians who take your money and redistribute it via social programs to those who haven’t earned it? Congressional leaders who bribe others to support legislation that the majority of the nation doesn’t want?

Well, that’s what you elected. That’s what you’ve been electing year after year.  That hope and change you put in the White House comes at your expense.  Hope you’re happy.
