I’m so repulsed by this, I want to spit.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Michael Yon, you should get to know him. You should get to know his work. You should get to know his dispatches from downrange. He’s been courageously telling the story of our troops’ battle with terrorism for years, and he’s become famous for beautiful, heartbreaking images such as this.
Michael Yon is the LAST person who would strike anyone as a terrorist, but apparently TSA goons disagree. Here’s what Michael writes on his Facebook page today.
Got arrested at the Seattle airport for refusing to say how much money I make. (The uniformed ones say I was not “arrested”, but they definitely handcuffed me.) Their videos and audios should show that I was polite,but simply refused questions that had nothing to do with national security. Port authority police eventually came — they were professionals — and rescued me from the border bullies.
When they handcuffed me, I said that no country has ever treated me so badly. Not China. Not Vietnam. Not Afghanistan. Definitely not Singapore or India or Nepal or Germany, not Brunei, not Indonesia, or Malaysia, or Kuwait or Qatar or United Arab Emirates. No county hastreated me with the disrespect can that can be expected from our border bullies.
So Crotchbomber gets onto a plane without a passport, and is allowed entry to the US despite the fact that he was banned from the UK and his own father reported him as a radical terrorist, and the “authorities” react by arresting Michael Yon for not telling them something as private as how much he makes for a living.
Don’t you feel safer now?

Exactly what is the salary range of a terrorist? The current administration’s anti-terror efforts have gone to comical to stupidity on the fly. Remember, the system worked!

I feel much safer, can’t wait till I get irradiated every time I fly…should produce interesting results in 5-10 years, extra eyeball, glowing appendage, maybe some x-men style mutations…

I don’t fly and I wouldn’t now under any circumstance. I used to fly, 40 some years ago and the first landing I ever made was about my 15th flight, it was in a Caribou. If I was to fly today I am afraid I would get arrested every time I got to an airport. I would also attempt to get others to be arrested with me in a protest, I would not go quietly and believe you me that this old paratroper knows how to raise a little hell. I may be old and sick but I ain’t give up yet.
