First, McCain.
Now, this.
Cassy interviewed Aaron Biterman of the Republican Liberty Caucus about their endorsement of douchebag extraordinaire Adam Kokesh for Congress.
Apparently, despite all his criminal activities and his dishonoring the uniform of the United States Marine Corps, the RLC still endorses him.
The Republican Liberty Caucus assesses candidates on their issue positions, not what pranks they pulled in college or people they associated with who we might not like. Most of your criticisms fit under the category of “he’s an anti-war protester and therefore he’s evil,” and that’s just not relevant to our endorsement process.A RLC endorsement is simply advice to our members that a candidate is worthy of consideration for their support and assistance — it does not require members to support or contribute to any endorsed candidate. The RLC itself never contributes any dues or contributions directly to any political campaign or ballot proposition.
Pranks, eh?
Is smuggling a weapon from downrange, being demoted for it, and still misrepresenting oneself as an NCO a prank?
How about distributing pure hatred in print and trying to frame a conservative college group? Is that a prank?
How about encouraging American service members (most of whom are thankfully more honorable than he is) to go AWOL? Is that just a little prank too?
How about lying about his discharge?
You know what? I don’t give a blazing flying fuck what his position on the issues is. I don’t want a liar and criminal representing American taxpayers in Congress. We have enough criminals there as it is. Don’t need to add one more dishonorable pig to the list.
