Rejected an amendment to the health care bill that would have banned Viagara funding for sex offenders.  Because as we all know, that’s what sex offenders need – a bigger, stronger, harder erection.  I can only hope said erection winds up in the puckered rectum of Max Baucus.

By 57-42, Democrats rejected an amendment by Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla.,barring federal purchases of Viagra and other erectile dysfunctiondrugs for sex offenders. Coburn said it would save millions, while Sen.Max Baucus, D-Mont., called it “a crass political stunt.”

John Lott reports that the leftards’ reason for rejecting the amendment is that they didn’t want the House to vote on the bill again with changes to the reconciliation bill.  Unfortunately, that’s utter bullshit, since a new vote will happen anyway.

The follow-up health care bill being considered by the Senate will haveto return to the House for final congressional approval, after theSenate parliamentarian determined that two Republican challenges willsucceed in stripping out language in the package.

Loving that HopeandChange yet, America?

And speaking of Democrat scum

The fetid cockbite libtardians in Virginia are screeching RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISM at AG Ken Cuccinelli’s decision to file a lawsuit against the federal government over health-care reform.

Apparently getting a service at someone else’s expense is now a civil right equivalent to attending public school with white children.  Being forced to purchase something you don’t want to purchase is not a violation of your civil rights.

In a noon news conference, Sen. A. DonaldMcEachin, D-Henrico, charged that Cuccinelli is advancing “a right wingagenda” with the blessing of Gov. Bob McDonnell, and said the attorneygeneral is pursuing a fight with the federal government over otherissues, among them chasing down predatory lenders.

And when the issue of state’s rights arose, so did this state’s scarred racial past.

Asked by a reporter about any parallels between Virginia’sopposition to desegregation decades ago and its current fight againsthealth care reform, Del. Jennifer L. McClellan, D-Richmond, said“absolutely.“

“If you ask them, a lot of people today are embarrassed by the factthat 50 years ago we engaged in Massive Resistance and regret that wedid that, and realize that was a huge waste of time that had adetrimental impact on a whole generation of children who were preventedfrom going to school,“ she said.

“If we are not careful, we could have the same detrimental effect ona whole generation of children who are denied health-care coverageright now,“ McClellan said.

And as long as the chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiildren are cited as the reason, theft (they call it redistribution nowadays) and government coercion are perfectly OK.

Will the stupidity and scumbaggery ever end?  Please?
