Think you can’t spend us into the same hole as Greece? You’re well on your way!
The United States posted an $82.69 billion deficit in April, nearly four times the $20.91billion shortfall registered in April 2009 and the largest on record for that month, the Treasury Department said on Wednesday.
It was more than twice the $40-billion deficit that Wall Street economists surveyed by Reuters had forecast and was striking since April marks the filing deadline for individual income taxes that are the main source of government revenue.
Department officials said that in prior years, there was a surplus during April in 43 out of the past 56 years.
To those of you who whine that I’m simply not giving Obama a chance… that I’m raaaaaaaacist, because I disagree with his economic policies and those of Skeletor Pelosi and her dried up counterpart in the Senate… you still think my criticism is without merit?
How many more chances can we give this guy? How much more government spending can our economy tolerate before we’re unable to service our debt? How much longer before WE need a bailout from the IMF – a bailout funded by our own taxpayers, by the way, much like the record booty we poured into Greece via the IMF in conjunction with the EU?
Keep spending, libtards. You’ll spend us into poverty, and I guarantee you the “It’s all the previous administration’s fault” mantra won’t fly any longer.
