I’m back from Belgium and jetlagged. Can’t sleep, but tired. So I’m web surfing, and I found this absolute GEM! Watch Eric Holder tap dance faster and better than Michael Flatley in Riverdance in order to avoid putting the words “radical” and “Islam” together!
This administration has an agenda? What agenda?

Sympathy first, admiration second, and cowardice a very strong third. These asshats (the Magic Marxist and his Merry Band of Misfits) wouldn’t recognize honor, integrity, guts and balls if smacked upside the head with any of the aforementioned things. They disgust me – every last one of ‘em.

This was one of the funniest exchanges I’ve seen all week. The contempt that politicians (and not just them, either) have for the intelligence of other Americans is awesome. Everyone’s afraid to say Islam because they really think the world is full of knuckle-dragging morons who, upon hearing the term Islam, will just rampage through the streets beating up any Muslim, or anyone suspected of being Muslim, that they see. It’s rather the same attitude that goes into stunts like the New Orleans Police Department disarming citizens in the wake of Katrina: Can’t let the proles have guns, they’ll shoot each other’s eyes out!Of course, it is no surprise that politicians like Holder regard the average US citizen as a grunting ape. The patronizing babytalk that comes out of Washington is an indication of that, and has been now for several presidents.100% of politicians think 100% of Americans are complete yokels.Of course, it is increasingly clear that nearly 100% of Americans think 100% of other Americans are also morons, especially those who disagree with them politically. This is the real reason why people are afraid to say it – well, that, and stoking the cultural conflict between Islam and…well, the Enlightenment.I get the points on both sides of the debate. From the right, you can’t pretend radicalized, demented Muslim shitheels aren’t largely responsible for this kind of mayhem in the past several decades (and that’s what’s happening: pretending. The minute a bomb goes off, the first thing even the most liberal person out there thinks is, crap, not another Islamic terrorist, regardless of the sanctimonious posturing to the contrary). Yeah, there are right wing wackos out there too; we get it. But right wing wackos don’t typically attack city centers full of civilians, either. When a government building gets blown up, then it’s fair to avoid speculation until the facts are in. Pattern recognition is far from foolproof but it isn’t completely invalid either. From the left, yeah, you don’t go around blaming all Muslims and pushing good people who happen to be Muslim around because of it either. I remember the case of that poor Sikh some years back who was assaulted after 9/11 because some jackass assumed anyone with a Turban must be to blame.WE GET IT. Can we stop having this stilted debate where people are afraid to say what everyone is thinking for fear of offending someone’s sensibilities?Pretending there is not a fundamental conflict between the superstitious, backward religious nuttery of religiously-oriented terrorists, and Western values of tolerance and rationalism, is an insult to all of our intelligence. No matter what side you’re on.

This, from the knucklehead who has no problem saying that the Tea Party people are definitely terrorists and racists, and who would denigrate Christians at the drop of a hat. Disgusting!
