We already knew Nancy Pelosi is one of the dumbest bints in history. You have to search far and wide to find a politician that is more hated around the nation (or one that more closely resembles Skeletor). Her rampant dumbassery is tolerated and even venerated in her district, but as for the rest of us…
…we all have to wonder if she actually has to brain cells to rub together, and just how much dope her constituents are smoking to keep reelecting her year after year.
Take, for instance, Skeletor’s claim that somehow government stimulus spending injects demand into the economy, creates motivation for people to leave unemployment and somehow creates jobs.
Errrr… what? Is she really trying to tell us that creating incentive for people to sit at home and NOT work by giving them money extorted from others will actually force people to go back to work? Does she actually think that getting magic money stolen from the taxpayers by government force will somehow make people go back to work?
Let me ask you something. How many of you would continue to work and produce if you won the lottery? If you got enough money to live from an unnamed source, would that really give you incentive to work and produce? I would venture a guess that most of you would not only quit your jobs, but tell your bosses where to shove them.
The only way a government can “create jobs” is by taking them away from the private sector. The government gets its money from those who pay taxes. It doesn’t create wealth, and it doesn’t produce. When a government takes more money from the taxpayers to “create” jobs, the taxpayers (including the companies that actually create jobs) have less money to do so!
The government has a legitimate function in society. That much is true. But it’s a limited function, and when it grows so out of control, that it actually harms economic progress, it’s time to yank the reins, and yank them hard!
This is a real economist. These are the kinds of people who should be making economic policy, not Pelosi, who couldn’t locate her own ass with two hands and a flashlight and not the likes of Reid, who apparently thinks his claim that a hike in taxes on the oil companies somehow won’t be passed on to the consumer.
I keep wondering why it is that people who don’t understand anything about economics somehow wind up controlling the economy.
Thanks, libtards! Thanks a bunch!

There are times I start to think that we’d be better off re-instituting the draft, but doing it to fill Congress instead of the military. Surely we couldn’t do much worse with random selection than we are with these domineering careerist scum!Draft people for, say, a four year term, alternating halves so there’s a new group every two years. Give them a set salary (where any raise they approve does not take effect until they are out of office) and one year’s salary after they leave as a “thank you for your service” and so they have time to re-enter the work force. It might make things worse, but I really don’t see how it could!
