You are a swine.

I have called quite a lot of politicians much worse than that, but truly – you’re a prime example of why the system needs to be changed, and changed now.

You are an arrogant, ignorant, drunk-on-his-own-power, petty dictator, who if given half the chance, would enslave anyone who had the temerity to voice an opinion different from his.  You have no understanding of your role in this nation and this government. You have no concept of decency or ethics.  You have no respect for the people who put you into office and who pay your exorbitant salary and benefits, even as you work to deprive them of the very rights you swore to protect when you took your oath!

You make me sick.  You aren’t funny. You aren’t sharp or witty.  You’re an odious, angry, audacious, twisted little man with no respect for your employer – the people of New Jersey and the people of the United States.

I’m talking about this, you supercilious tool:

I’m talking about your foolish contention that those who disagree with your Marxist dictates that we, the people must fund your every folly our of our pockets – out of our sweat and tears – as we work harder and harder each day only to have pompous, authoritarian swine such as yourself work to relieve us of more and more of our earnings to fund your pet projects – meant to do nothing more than get you reelected, so that you can continue to suck more life out of us each year – somehow don’t deserve the rights that the US Constitution protects!

Worse yet, somehow you’re under the impression that you and your power-sucking leech pals in Congress are somehow oh-so-benevolent that you will give them to us anyway!

Really?

You honestly believe you are the ones who give us the rights protected by the Constitution?  You honestly believe that our freedoms are somehow yours to grant to us, the subjects?

Let me tell you something, you pernicious piece of ostentatious shit!  We are a free society. You are not our ruler.  You are not in charge. WE ARE.  You are not good enough, smart enough, savvy enough or powerful enough to “give” me any right.  And you are certainly NOT the arbiter who who deserves to exercise those rights and who does not.

I know you’re accustomed to thinking that our rights are yours to dispose of as you please.  You’ve shown your disdain for the very people who put you in that office you occupy by working assiduously to disarm them.  Your shoddy record on the Second Amendment to the US Constitution is well known, and you are a big ZERO at comprehending it, just like you’re a big NOTHING at understanding the First Amendment.

So let me explain it to you in terms you will understand, you petty little tyrant in a three-piece suit.

You are nothing. The people who voted for you can just as easily vote you out, which I hope they do as soon as word spreads of your disdain for their rights and freedoms.  We understand that the rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights are meant to be protected from swine like you, and are certainly not granted by you or any other whore in Washington, whose only goal is to continue bleeding the rest of us dry.

A basic, fundamental right exists by virtue of each of us being human and being born onto this earth.  These rights belong to us and are our birthright. Who the hell are you to claim we don’t deserve them, or that you somehow grant them to us?

Webster’s Dictionary defines a right as the power or privilege to which one is justly entitled.  A right exists simultaneously among men in a just society, which means that we all are entitled to the same rights, and no one – not a malignant mass (yeah, Lance Armstrong – go on, tell me how I’m an insensitive bitch for using that term!) such as you or your socialist pals, who think that you’re entitled to relieve me of my earnings and redistribute them to the indolent, incapable and ignorant (just the types that cast a vote in your direction).

Here’s hoping you get your fat, ignorant yap shut by the very TEA party members who you claim do not deserve the rights protected by the Constitution. Let’s hope they help defeat your leeching ass, and that we, the taxpayers, will at least be rid of one drain on our society.

Another Economics Lesson

A while ago, I read a book called “The Creature from Jekyll Island” by G. Edward Griffin.  It was solid in its research, even though I had to roll my eyes at the Bilderburger conspiracy bullshit.  It talked about US monetary policy and the Fed.

Central banking… A lesson.  Need I say more?

Dan Mitchell of CATO explains this new video is the first in a multi-part series about monetary policy, central banking, and the Federal Reserve. The video above looks at the history of money, including how paper money evolved in the private sector, and concludes by highlighting various options – such as the gold standard, free banking, and monetary rules – that would limit the power of central banks to devalue currency and tinker with the economy.

More Holder Racism

The only good thing that came out of my finding this story this morning (read: the only thing that didn’t want to make me vomit in my own mouth, and then weep for this nation) is that I found a new blog I will be reading and recommending to you. From what I’ve seen here, Jonolan holds the same views as I do, but is less likely to break into a bout of Tourettes-like invective when angry.

That is a good thing, because the story I shamelessly purloined from him is enough to make me want to feed the entire (Racial) Justice Department into a woodchipper and dump the remains into a murky pond (pun fully intended – just read the blog).

I’ve always said this administration was racist. Many of its supporters are racist. Many of its policies are racist as well. 

Remember Laura Washington?  Aside from being a jibbering hoplophobe, she also claims Barack Obama as “the black President” – a president for African Americans, not all Americans. She thinks the concept of the UNITED States is lame. Black America is what counts.

Remember Charles Ogletree?  He’s a professor at Harvard and the founder of the school’s Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice (and a plagiarist, although he claims plagiarism was accidental).  His idea of “justice” is the claim in the 2008 elections that because Obama is bi-racial, anyone who doesn’t vote for him is racist.  But wait… anyone who DOES vote for him is racist too! Why? Because they’re apparently only voting for the white part of him.  This kind of racism makes my head hurt.

Remember Attorney General Eric Holder accusing Americans of being cowards, due to our apparent unwillingness to discuss race, while race baiters and blackmailers such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton went around the country shaking down anyone who had the balls to discuss race in an honest matter?

Remember the President’s buddy Skippy, who accused a cop (who happened to be white) of racism for merely doing his job, while Jugears injudiciously opened his yap and accused the police officer of stupidity for… well… doing his job?  What followed was a beer summit, in which the participants were supposed to have discussed race relations and how to better achieve equality for all.

Apparently Eric Holder or the Department of (Racial) Justice (read: advantage to any race that is not white) didn’t get the “equality for all” memo.

The Dayton Police Department is lowering its testing standards for recruits.

It’s a move required by the U.S. Department of Justice after it says not enough African-Americans passed the exam.    

Dayton is in desperate need of officers to replace dozens of retirees.  The hiring process was postponed for months because the D.O.J. rejected the original scores provided by the Dayton Civil Service Board, which administers the test.

Under the previous requirements, candidates had to get a 66% on part one of the exam and a 72% on part two.

The D.O.J. approved new scoring policy only requires potential police officers to get a 58% and a 63%.  That’s the equivalent of an ‘F’ and a ‘D’.

So what Holder and his band of monkeys (this is NOT a racist term! Shut the fuck up!) are saying is that African Americans are less capable and less bright, and standards ought to be brought down to “their level.”  And this is apparently not insulting to any African American out there who is bright and capable and hard working?  The claim that African Americans aren’t as capable as their white counterparts, and therefore need standards dropped in order to compete, is apparently not considered racist by those who support this policy?

Apparently the content of your character doesn’t matter.

Apparently the effort you put into an exam doesn’t matter.

Apparently your level of intelligence doesn’t matter.

Apparently your ability to actually DO the job doesn’t matter.

What matters is your skin color, and the fact that you WANT this job.

A New Congressional Candidate

It’s been a while since I’ve endorsed anyone for any office. I remember endorsing Aaron Russo for the Libertarian Party nomination for President on behalf of Armed Females of America in 2004, but most of the time, I’ve been incredibly disappointed with the choices we had running for both the legislature and for the White House.

Until now.

I live in Virginia’s 10th District.  Frank Wolf has been my Congressman since before I moved here in 1998.  He’s currently in his 16th term.  Back in the day, when I was a reporter for WINC radio, I interviewed Frank Wolf a lot. We chatted many times. I had nothing against him. I thought he was a nice man, even though I never fully agreed with his voting record or his ideas.

No more.

I still think he’s a nice guy. I’ve seen nothing to negate that, although I haven’t spoken to him in a while.  But the reason he wins election after election is because ostensibly he brings home the pork – plain and simple.  Money for roads. Money for museums. Money for “heritage areas.”  Money for education. 

The Heritage Foundation recently included Frank Wolf in a group of Republicans most reluctant to cut spending.

95 Members (all Democrats) showed no appetite to cut spending by voting against every single spending cut. Another 47 voted against all but one of the cuts.

The following were the most reluctant Republicans to cut spending in descending order:

    * Reichert, LaTourette, Biggert, Gerlach, Simpson, Diaz-Balart, Smith (NJ), Bass, Frelinghuysen, Wolf, Wittman, Dent, Dold, Grimm, Kinzinger, Meehan, Stivers, and Young (FL).

In an age where our debt equals the size of our entire economy and our deficit is more than 7 percent of GDP, it’s about time to elect someone who’s not going to work to ensure their own power by essentially bribing the electorate with pork, but rather work to reduce spending and exercise some fiscal responsibility.

I met such a guy a few days ago, when Rob and I got together with him and a couple of others for dinner.  His name is Ken Vaughn.

On a personal level, I think Ken is just a nice guy. He wasn’t put off by my liberal use of invective after a couple of drinks, freely discussed popular culture, personal issues as well as politics, and was just a cool guy. He’s not a career politician. He’s not a snotty social conservative type, who wants to impose his version of morality on the rest of us.  He just wants to be a part of the solution, not a part of the problem.  I like that. 

We had a couple of conversations via email, and I’ve become convinced that Ken is the guy to replace Frank Wolf in Congress.

First, Ken’s major concern is debt.  Economy, debt, spending… all those things I’ve been railing about for years.  All those issues I believe are an absolute threat to national security, regardless of the pretentious bleatings of Paul Krugman.  Here’s a snippet from our email conversation:

Debt
As I mentioned, I believe it is our moral obligation to repay the money that we have borrowed from the future generations.

Taxes
Ideally, I would like to see a consumption-based tax such as the FairTax. I recognize that this would be difficult, and I could support something like the flat tax as movement in the right direction. At a minimum, I believe that we need to roll back all of the various “tax credits” and deductions that amount to the government trying to bribe us to live a certain way or to reward campaign donors.

Spending
History demonstrates that revenues are unlikely to be more than 18% of GDP. If we are to eliminate the debt within our lifetime, we will need to dedicate 1% of GDP to debt reduction. Thus, spending should be capped at 17% of GDP. This means cutting government spending by roughly a third. This will require significant cuts in entitlements and to defense spending and will only be achieved through shared sacrifice.

Economy
We need to reform our taxes and regulations to eliminate the self-imposed barriers to our manufacturing success. People like to feel good about our worker protection and environmental laws, but we are really just exporting these issues. We buy massive amounts of goods from Mexico, China and other countries that do not provide for the same protections. We should impose tariffs on those countries that fail to provide the same protections that we do and we should eliminate the unnecessary protections. This change along with tax code changes will bring jobs back to the US.

Transportation
We need to eliminate transportation subsidies, along with all other subsidies; the free market will then find the best solutions. This means that the highway and airport budgets will see a decrease of about 20% whereas the transit and rail components will see even deeper cuts (30-40%). It also means rail and transit service would be limited to those areas where it can actually be supported and we will kill the boondoggles such as Dulles Rail, which is projected to have a $50+ subsidy for every passenger trip.

Ken is pro-military. He has a son in the Army ROTC, so he has “very real interests in making sure our troops are protected and paid.”

He’s pro-gun.  He grew up in Texas. This is not a guy who’s going to vote to curtail your rights in any way.  Need I say more? 

And he has good ideas to address illegal immigration.

In other words, I think the 10th has its man.  Now, all we have to do is defeat a very entrenched incumbent – an incumbent who has been spending our money to keep himself in power for more than 30 years.

And consider making a donation.  Yes, I realize that many of you don’t live in Virginia’s 10th district, and you must be wondering why in the hell you should bother supporting a guy who has nothing to do with you.  I beg to differ.  He has EVERYTHING to do with you.

In order to change things, we need to do so gradually, Congressman by Congressman; Senator by Senator.  And to do that we need to support every candidate for Congress who reflects the values we hold dear – smaller government, lower spending, strong national defense…

Yes, focus on your own districts, but if you have any resources to spare (yeah, I know – tough economy and all – I get it), consider supporting Ken Vaughn and others like him.  We need as many of “our” kind in office as possible.

Speaking of leftist hypocrisy…

Why is there no leftist outrage at this?  Where are the howls of protest demanding civility as there were when Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot by a maggot without any political leanings whatsoever, I might add?  Where are the smarmy discussions about how we need civility and how Palin’s bullseye poster contributed to the shootings in Tucson?

Why are these odious threats not being condemned from every rooftop?

You know who wrote that?  Union supporters.  Those who believe legislators and their families deserve to be murdered so that union pigs can continue their feeding frenzy.

I don’t see any one of those who loudly condemned Palin a few weeks ago complaining about those when the “rights” of socialist fuckbats to rape the taxpayers with a Marxist cricket bat are at stake.
