The media sucks.
September 18, 2013
Here’s some news for you. The media sucks. Not that you didn’t know this before, but I thought I’d reinforce the contention with the following.
Initial reports suggested that Aaron Alexis used three firearms to commit the carnage at the Washington Navy Yard the other day: a handgun, a shotgun and an AR-15.
Never one to let a crisis go to waste, Dianne Feinswine renewed her calls for more gun control – even though, the carnage occurred in Washington DC, where legal possession of firearms is practically impossible and cost prohibitive for most law-abiding citizens, and on a military facility, where firearms are prohibited.
Subsequent reports indicated that an AR-15 was not used in the shooting, and that Alexis actually only brought a shotgun into the facility with him, and then used firearms he stole from people he shot to finish the job.
… federal law enforcement sources told CNN Tuesday that authorities have recovered three weapons from the scene of the mass shooting, including one — a shotgun — that investigators believe Alexis brought in to the compound. The other two weapons, which sources say were handguns, may have been taken from guards at the Navy complex.
So, no. There was no EEEVILLL!!! assault rifle used, and we now all know this. But what did CNN do in the story I cited above?
The rest of the story focuses on the AR-15 and how it has been used in shootings over the years, including Sandy Hook, Aurora and Portland.
It focuses on a rifle that was not used in this latest shooting to report about this latest shooting.
NBC, not to be outdone by CNN’s panic mongering, stressed that Alexis rented an EEEEEVILLLL!!! AR-15 at a store two days before the shooting and practiced with it.
So NBC decided to point to the evils of the “assault” rifle, even though, the only thing this crazy fuck brought to the party was a shotgun… that is until he disarmed the only people who are allowed to have firearms on a military installation: the police.
The title of the NBC piece states: Washington Navy Yard shooter practiced with AR-15 at Virginia range two days before rampage, lawyer says.
You know what the title doesn’t say?
It doesn’t say that Alexis was apparently bugfuck crazy, even though that information – information more relevant to this incident – is buried at the bottom of the story, while the information about the irrelevant AR-15 is the lead.
It doesn’t focus on the fact that Alexis reported hearing voices in the days leading up to the attack.
It doesn’t focus on the fact that he was paranoid, and reported in August that he was being followed and people wanted to hurt him.
It doesn’t focus on the fact that apparently someone used a microwave machine to send vibrations and keep him awake.
And it doesn’t talk about the fact that this shithouse crazy individual had his clearance renewed, despite several arrests for violent crimes.
What it does do is talk about yet another call for Congress to “do something” on the part of the current Chief Ineptitude.
Never mind that a background check was performed at the time of the sale of the shotgun by Sharpshooters in Virginia, and that all the paperwork was done correctly.
Never mind that he snuck a shotgun onto a facility where firearms were prohibited.
Never mind that no law could have stopped him.
Never mind all that. Let’s focus on that evil “assault” weapon, because it fits our agenda.

See, Piers Morgan has this history of doctoring facts and spewing lies to fit his particular agenda. In 2004 Morgan was fired as Editor of the Daily Mirror after authorizing publication of photographs that allegedly showed Iraqi prisoners being abused by the British military. The photographs weren’t just fakes. They were ridiculous and obvious.
That didn’t stop Morgan, though. So he’s either monumentally stupid for not recognizing an obvious fake, or he just didn’t care that they were fakes in his zeal to paint the British military in the most negative light possible.
Morgan’s ethics have been suspect more than once. In 2000, this narcissistic windbag was found by the Press Complaints Commission to have breached the Code of Conduct on financial journalism for buying a ton of shares of the computer company Viglen before his newspaper promoted the company as a good buy.
Morgan’s current MO appears to be: when facts are not on your side, lie. And after being spanked by guest after guest on the gun control issue, including Ben Shapiro, who did a great job destroying that sanctimonious shitslurper…
…this fuckwit decided to make up some facts.
Morgan claimed in an Aug. 13 interview with military history expert A.W.R. Hawkins that Virginia had the highest murder rate in the country, according to 2009 FBI statistics.
Hawkins had cited Virginia as a state where gun sales increased and violent crime decreased in 2012.
Morgan disagreed, asking Hawkins to explain his “warped twisted logic.” (Way to be an objective journalist, douche canoe!)
Morgan pressed Hawkins on which state had the highest murder rate in the country. When Hawkins said he didn’t know, Morgan shot back, “Allow me to help you. Allow me to help you. It’s Virginia.”
Morgan continued, “It’s Virginia, the very state you just quoted to me, actually has the highest murder rate in the country, according to 2009 statistics by the FBI.”
Only one problem with that claim: it’s a complete fabrication.
According to the FBI’s 2009 Uniform Crime Report, Virginia is not even close to having the highest murder rate in the country! Some notable murder numbers that were higher than Virginia include the leftarded gun control utopias of Illinois, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, New York, California, Michigan and Maryland. Fact of the matter is that Virginia came in behind 23 others states for the number of murder and non-negligent manslaughter.
But facts won’t stop Piers Morgan. When he’s not lying to support his idiotic agenda, he’s bullying and insulting his guests.
In other words, Morgan is a supercilious, scrotum-licking, queefing dickweasel, who somehow managed to fellate his way into a job and used his obviously chapped lips and well-worn pair of knee pads to somehow keep from being fired.
How long before CNN realizes what kind of douchemonkey they have employed and sends him packing back to England to salvage what’s left of their tattered credibility?

…unless you’re someone whom leftards don’t like. Then you just need to shut the fuck up, because you don’t have a “license” to “say anything.”
That’s according to racist twat Sherri Shepherd of the View, who apparently thinks that unless you’re a “young, black man,” your views on race don’t mean shit.
“I don’t want to give Bill O’Reilly a license to say anything, because he’s never been a young black man growing up in the situations that a lot of them grow up in,” Sherri Shepherd told Lemon on Monday’s The View.
Hate to tell you this, you dumb bitch, but even the distasteful O’Reilly has a “license” to say something on race. It’s called the First Amendment, and he’s certainly got the right to speak on the issue.
But, of course, you don’t want his participation, because… well… he’ll say stuff you won’t like.
You know what you call a “conversation on race” where screeching, ignorant shrews try to shut up one side of the conversation?
It’s called a monologue.
You would do well to learn what that is.

I guess we don’t consider Osama bin Ladin our enemy any longer, since we won the war on terror… or something. But apparently, the hundreds of thousands of reports that whining little shitbag Bradley “Call me Breanna” Manning released being found in bin Ladin’s compound doesn’t qualify as “aiding the enemy,” because a military judge acquitted that piece of crap of that charge.
A military judge on Tuesday found Pfc. Bradley Manning not guilty of “aiding the enemy” for his release of hundreds of thousands of military and diplomatic documents to WikiLeaks. But she convicted him of multiple counts of violating the Espionage Act, stealing government property and other charges that could result in a maximum sentence of 136 years.
In delivering the mixed verdict, the judge, Col. Denise Lind, pulled back from the government’s effort to create a precedent that press freedom specialists had warned could have broad consequences for the future of investigative journalism about national security in the Internet era.
Never mind that the documents Manning released were found in Osama bin Ladin’s compound.
Never mind that thanks to Manning and his buddy Assmange, scores of innocent Afghans were threatened by the Taliban and several were kidnapped in retaliation for cooperating with coalition forces.
Never mind that this sniveling, simpering, blubbering douche canoe revealed a list of critical infrastructure – both America’s and our allies’ – to our enemies.
No…. he’s not guilty of aiding the enemy!
Just what is it that will make Manning guilty of aiding the enemy? Does it involve a tonguebath of Ahmadinejad’s taint? Does it involve a pair of knee pads and some chapstick as he slurps up every drop of Kim Jong Un’s tiny little schlong?
Just what is it that will make Manning’s arbitrary and intentional release of sensitive information that wound up in bin Ladin’s murderous paws be considered aiding the enemy?
This is not about investigative journalism. Nothing that Manning stole or Assmange released could be considered journalism. They released the names of sources, information about special forces, a list of critical infrastructure entrusted to us by our allies, descriptions of those who cooperated with coalition forces in Afghanistan and a bunch of personal communications between State Department employees that were no one’s business but theirs.
Manning didn’t do this out of any sense of honor. He did it, because he didn’t feel important and thought he’d show the Army just how important he could be. He did it because he was a little drug addicted asshole.
(1:39:03 PM) Manning: i cant believe what im confessing to you :’(
(1:40:20 PM) Manning: ive been so isolated so long… i just wanted to be nice, and live a normal life… but events kept forcing me to figure out ways to survive… smart enough to know whats going on, but helpless to do anything… no-one took any notice of me
(1:43:59 PM) Manning: im self medicating like crazy when im not toiling in the supply office (my new location, since im being discharged, im not offically intel anymore)
(02:40:26 PM) Manning: i mean, i was never noticed
(02:41:10 PM) Manning: regularly ignored… except when i had something essential… then it was back to “bring me coffee, then sweep the floor”
(02:42:24 PM) Manning: i never quite understood that
(02:42:44 PM) Manning: felt like i was an abused work horse…
He did it because he is a whining shitwad, who was apparently too good for the military, because they didn’t give him the respect to which he felt he was entitled.
Shove the self-important shitstick into a dank cell and let him stay there for a long time.
