I have a Tracfone, if only because I can’t afford or don’t want to pay the exorbitant fees for some of the other gadgets out there. Since I don’t use it much, my fees are about $5 a month average. Guess I might have to investigate other alternatives to sending money to a Mexican bilionaire.

My comment on her article from almost 24 hour ago is still “awaiting moderation.” Granted, it wasn’t worded quite as nicely as yours – but still with more logical reasoning and holding one to account for their own self-responsibility than she’s probably comfortable with.

…In retrospect, perhaps calling them a “foolish, irresponsible child masquerading as an adult”, “a disgrace to anybody in this world who takes seriously their own self-accountability and personal responsibility”, and clearly telling her, “you’re smug and clueless, and feel strongly you know what’s best for other people” wasn’t the most tactful way to go about things. Dang…I generally show more restraint than that…

And I agree with you but that doesn’t change the fact that this female and those like her do believe so and she did make her point to her fellow travelers quite well.

Don’t mistake evil for stupidity. Doing so can lead to making tactical mistakes. The enemy must be respected for the harm that they can cause if for nothing else.

Yet, the unethical editors of Ms. Magazine and author are unwilling to report that they have dual causes for this story to be written. A simple google search turned up her information and if you then do some simple journalistic things (of which she isn’t doing because she needs to tell a story that guns are evil), you will find there are a number of barriers she doesn’t report during her purchase.
